Now Even Safer a Second Time Round - What Will Change in the Second Revision of ISO 26262:2018

The second revision of ISO 26262:2018 is expected in March 2018. The revision of the 2011 edition of ISO 26262 encompasses experiences that have been gathered over the last few years in the development of safety-relevant systems, and also comprises new requirements for areas like ADAS and the related process architectures. As a result, highly complex systems have been added that will be taken into account in the new edition. What impact will the revision have on model-based software development? What quality assurance methods are planned as part of the new edition?
