Establishing model-based software development - a retrospect
by Dr. Heiko Zatocil (Siemens AG)
Model-based software development with automatic code generation is a widely-used technique especially in the automotive industry. Thus, starting from scratch and selecting the tools, defining the workflows, establishing the processes etc. is not really a day-to-day business in well-established organizations.
The presentation deals with the experiences which were gained during the last five years within an automotive start-up: from a blank sheet and plenty of ideas to a seamless and powerful tool-chain for a multi-serial-projects company.
