Model-based Development of Embedded Software with ISO 26262: Challenges and Effective Solutions
This 2-day intensive workshop provides a practice-rooted overview of developing and safeguarding embedded software on the basis of Simulink® and TargetLink® in serial projects in line with the ISO 26262 standard. The workshop demonstrates which process steps, framework conditions and safeguarding measures must be taken into account with regard to functional safety; these include textual requirements specifications, design of the simulation model and the software architecture, and serial code generation. A particular focus will lie on those sections of ISO 26262 that are specifically relevant to model-based development.
Target group:
The workshop is targeted towards developers, testers, quality managers, project managers, security managers, and team leaders, whose focus is the model-based development of embedded software using MATLAB®/Simulink® in combination with TargetLink®.
Content:
- Model-based development with Simulink and TargetLink
- Developing safety-relevant software in accordance with ISO 26262
- The impact of ISO 26262 on model-based development
- Safety concept and safeguarding of the tool chain
- Model architecture for safety-relevant software
